Workshops
OAFE provides professional development services for educators across the province in both English and French. The workshops are conducted by experienced Ontario teachers, principals, and curriculum consultants engaged by Ontario Agri-Food Education Inc. as educational consultants. All workshops provide the curriculum connections between the learning expectations of the Ontario Curriculum and the many components of the agri-food system. The workshops present teaching strategies, ideas for student activities and assessment suggestions that facilitate co-operative learning, problem-solving and integrating new concepts into the existing curriculum. Most resources are distributed free when accompanied by a workshop.

OAFE workshops are 90 minutes in length and are offered free of charge to educators. They can be scheduled during or after school hours, on professional development days, or at association conferences. Workshops are usually organized by a school board, principal, group of schools, or professional organization, and can be tailored to suit your professional development needs.
