With the arrival of September, most of us are off and running in many directions, so this month's webpage is created with that in mind.
OAFE Member Fairs:
Please send in your teacher numbers so that we can send your resource packages to you in a timely manner.
For those fairs who do not host schools, please email volunteer@oafe.org to see how we can be of assistance for your ag education area.
AgriFood Activities:
Remember to snap plenty of pictures at your fair's ag education event for use when:
1. Thanking your volunteers
2. Recognizing that special volunteer through OAFE's Volunteer Recognition Program
3. Entering your fair in the Award of Excellence competition (see below)*
4. Sharing your great activities with other people (especially OAFE)
5. Promoting your fair next year

Agri-Food Activity:
Explore the many agriculture related activities that can be used at your event on our children's web site. Farms, food and fun feature's new 3D cut-out animal templates, as well as other exciting activities for kids. www.farmsfoodfun.com
Agri-Food Tips:
Many of you volunteer with other organizations throughout the year. Look to your fellow volunteer peers to assist you at your fair. In addition, reach out to your youth organizations for assistance (4-H Ontario, Junior Farmers, Scouting/Guiding, Sports). As courtesy, you can return the favour and volunteer at one of their events.
