Educating Today's Students - Tomorrow's Consumers
Ontario Agri-Food Education Inc. provides a wide variety of resource material and information with two main goals for Ontario's Elementary and Secondary streams:
Elementary Goal: To have every single elementary teacher in Ontario using at least one of OAFE’s resources during their teaching year to best address curriculum expectations through an agri-food perspective.
Secondary Goal: To integrate agriculture into the educational system by connecting classrooms with agri-food perspectives that increase understanding, encourage critical thinking and stimulate dialogue using curriculum linked resources.
This section of the website provides access to hard copy lesson plans and resources that seek to meet these mandates. Descriptions of OAFE resources are organized by grade level in alphabetical order. Resources listed as FREE are limited to one free copy per teacher per order and applies to Ontario teachers only.
Please Note: Ontario orders are subject to a $7.00 shipping fee. Out-of-Province and International customers are subject to additional charges for resources as outlined in the descriptions.
